UpTempo is a “Performance Accelerator”, a block cache that works below the Windows file system. UpTempo increases I/O performance using cache and intelligent algorithms. UpTempo accelerates I/O for applications running on Windows. Visio, Adobe Photoshop and Premiere applications have shown up to three to four times faster performance in benchmarks. Accesses measured to the local file system (Swap file) using the H2BenchW tests on a Dell Notebook ran up to three times more quickly.
