DataCore Software Acquires Innovative Microsoft Windows 2000/NT Software Developer RTware

Acquisition Adds Expertise, Advanced Software, and Tools for Storage Networks and SAN Management Targeting the Multi-billion SAN Market

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- July 1, 1999 -- DataCore Software Thursday announced the acquisition of RTware, the innovative software developer of ContolCalc. ContolCalc is a complete Microsoft 2000/NT-based software environment which allows rapid development of graphical user friendly tools and software interfaces to manage, administer, monitor and control data storage systems within high speed storage networks (e.g. SANs). Seven-year-old RTware, a private company, is located in North Carolina's Research Triangle Park (RTP).
