NCE Computer Sings SANmelody Disk Server Tune

Leading Reseller Builds Record Breaking Price/Performance SAN Solutions for the Public Sector

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. (November 11, 2004) — DataCore Software, a leading independent software vendor specializing in storage control, management and consolidation, today announced that NCE Computer Group will build and sell SANmelody™ Disk Server solutions, appliances, and software in both the UK and the US. One of the key market segments to be targeted will be the public sector. NCE solutions use SANmelody software which recently set the price performance mark for disk subsystems in the Storage Performance Council's SPC-1 Benchmark™. This market needs record-breaking solutions that allow users to easily add disk space to application servers across networks without incurring downtime. In addition, NCE is well positioned to meet the demands of the public sector for affordable Ethernet-based IP storage area networks (SAN) and cost-effective disaster recovery solutions.
