ThinApse Teams With DataCore to Build Affordable Disk Servers

Targets SMBs with Advanced Functionality and Attractive Price

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. (May 13, 2004) — DataCore Software, a leading independent software vendor specializing in storage control, management and consolidation, today announced that ThinApse Corporation, a select DataCore SANvantageSM authorized VAR partner, will build and sell SANmelody™ Disk Server solutions and software. ThinApse is the first to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions using SANmelody in Canada.

SANmelody provides customers with a new way of deploying fully functional disk servers - a compelling alternative to disk arrays and iSCSI storage - by simply choosing the software features that suit the business requirements and loading them onto general purpose servers to handle the workload.
