DataCore Featured on Sky Radio "The ROI Report"

CEO Talks About Challenges and Strategies for Managing Exponential Growth of Data Storage

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. (September 8, 2003) — DataCore Software, a leading provider of enterprise-class, open storage networking software, is being featured this month on the "The ROI Report" aired on American Airlines and Northwest Airlines. The interview will reach over three million executive business travelers who represent leaders and decision-makers at Global 2000 companies.

The two-minute interview features George Teixeira, DataCore's CEO and co-founder, discussing the uncertainties behind storage management and how to deal with them cost-effectively. The segment discusses how DataCore's SANsymphony™ storage solution can help enterprises take control of the many chronic and costly storage management problems.

"Sky Radio's unique programs are selected with the executive business traveler in mind and guest speakers spanning the who's who of business," said Marc Holland, CEO with Sky Radio. "DataCore's storage technology is changing the world of business and that kind of innovation is of great interest to our audience."

The popular in-flight airline talk show airs worldwide on 27,048 flights throughout the month of September on the American Airlines Business Report through the Forbes Radio Channel and on Northwest Airlines through the Business, Technology and Lifestyles Report. DataCore chose to work with Sky Radio Network, a leading producer of in-flight radio business and technology programs, because the company has high standards for programs that educate, inform and entertain the air traveler.

"This is an incredible opportunity for DataCore to reach potential new customers and reinforce our leadership position with our existing customers," said Ken Horner, vice president of marketing at DataCore. "Our goal was to inform the executive traveler how to utilize the existing storage assets and increase the return on investment."

SANsymphony software greatly reduces manual storage tasks through automation and eliminates costly storage utilities licensed on tens or hundreds of servers, switches and disk arrays by consolidating them onto Microsoft® Windows powered network nodes. Services such as physical to logical disk virtualization, volume management, storage resource management, and I/O path visualization that have been associated with host-intensive administration or vendor-specific hardware are offloaded to network-resident storage domain servers. The comprehensive fabric-based platform substantially reduces operational complexity and cost.

The program can be heard now on the DataCore website at http://www.datacore.com/skyradio and for one year on Sky Radio at http://www.skyradionet.com.
