DataCore Executive Discusses Storage Management Consolidation

Panel Focuses on Practical Storage Practices to Reduce Total Cost of Ownership

PHOENIX (Storage Networking World -- April 14, 2003) — Nik Simpson, product marketing manager for DataCore, will participate in two tutorial sessions on storage virtualization at the Storage Networking World conference. Simpson will explore how network-based virtualization techniques coupled with advanced storage services is addressing many of today's critical storage management issues: performance, interoperability, reliability, capacity utilization and scalability.

The Storage Virtualization I Tutorial will explore the problems addressed and benefits of various approaches to virtualization from a technical perspective. Storage Virtualization part II will cover practical issues of block-level virtualization and considerations for availability, performance and capacity growth.
