Datalink and DataCore Software Announce Strategic Partnership

Datalink Adds SANsymphony™ Software to Storage Management and Control Solutions

MINNEAPOLIS and FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., October 15, 2002 — Datalink Corporation (NASDAQ: DTLK), a leading information storage architect, and DataCore Software, a leading provider of enterprise-class, open-storage networking software, announced today a strategic partnership between the two companies. As a result of the partnership Datalink will incorporate DataCore's award winning SANsymphony storage networking platform into its storage management and control offerings.
