DataCore and StorageTek™ Enhance Their Interoperability To Come Up With High-Performance Virtualisation and Storage Control Software

Intensified technical co-operation between DataCore and StorageTek has culminated in the development of a highly scaleable storage solution

Reading, UK, 2 May, 2002 — DataCore Software, the leading provider of storage virtualisation and networking software, today announced that it has improved the interoperability of its products with those of StorageTek (Storage Technology Corp, NYSE:STK), the expert in high performance, high capacity digital data storage solutions.

This co-operation between DataCore and StorageTek underlines the commitment of the two companies to produce products and solutions that can be used jointly in a multi-platform environment. StorageTek is a major innovator in the field of storage solutions. Interoperability between the SANsymphony™ storage networking and virtualisation software from DataCore and the LSI-Storagetek storage arrays will help promote scalable management solutions using an open systems approach.
