DataCore Enters New Strategic Agreement with Fujitsu Softek

Fujitsu Softek Standardizes on DataCore's Storage Virtualization Engine

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. (February 21, 2002) — DataCore Software, the leading provider of storage virtualization and networking software, today announced the Company has entered an agreement with Fujitsu Softek where Fujitsu Softek will license DataCore's storage virtualization engine. This agreement provides additional options for customers looking at purchasing DataCore's technology from their partner of preference and solidifies DataCore's position as the defacto standard in storage virtualization and networking software. In addition to this strategic agreement with Fujitsu Softek, DataCore has relationships and agreements with HP, IBM and others.

Fujitsu Softek is building on the core technology of DataCore's virtualization engine for integration with its suite of storage management software solutions. By leveraging DataCore's virtualization technology, Fujitsu Softek is able to differentiate its suite of virtualization-enabled applications. Customers can now take advantage of centralized, policy-based, automated storage management in and out of the SAN across operating systems and hardware platforms.
