MEDIA ADVISORY DataCore Software Expert to Address Fibre Channel Technologies Conference 2001 Storage Industry Veteran Nik Simpson to Provide Strategies for Building a Successful Storage Infrastructure FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. (Oct. 15, 2001) — Nik Simpson, product, marketing manager for DataCore™ Software, the leading provider of storage virtualization and networking software, will participate in a panel session at the Fibre Channel Technologies Conference (FCTC 2001) this week. Simpson's discussion will explore the challenge of implementing a manageable storage infrastructure, from a storage management software perspective. The fourth-annual FCTC is being held from October 15 — 18 at the Doubletree Hotel in San Jose, Calif. It is sponsored by the Fibre Channel Industry Association (FCIA), an international organization of manufacturers, systems integrators, developers, systems vendors, industry professionals and end users. The FCIA delivers a broad base of Fibre Channel infrastructure to support technology for both vertical and horizontal markets, including storage, video, networking and SAN management. FCTC 2001 is the industry's only conference dedicated to Fibre Channel technologies.
