ABN AMRO Asset Management (Lux) Utilizes DataCore SANsymphony™ for Business Critical Data Center Delivers Storage Virtualization for Primary Data Center Together with SAN-based Synchronous Mirroring to Remote Disaster Recovery Site FT. (Sept. 20, 2001) — DataCore Software, the leader in storage networking and virtualization software, today announced that ABN AMRO Asset Management (Luxembourg) has joined its continually expanding European customer base. ABN AMRO Asset Management (Lux) has selected DataCore Software's SANsymphony™ for its City Center Business-Critical Data Center and remote disaster recovery site, more than 10 miles away. SANsymphony enables ABN AMRO Asset Management (Lux) to ensure total data management and security for its data. Strategic databases and file servers at the bank now rely on SANsymphony for storage virtualization. In addition, SANsymphony's synchronous mirroring functionality enables ABN AMRO Asset Management (Lux) to have a comprehensive, instantaneous disaster recovery solution by cost-effectively replicating all the Data Center's information to its secure off-site location over the Asset Management Unit's existing fibre infrastructure.
