Nishan Systems Enrolls in DataCore's SANvantage Technical Partner Program Alliance Pioneers Next Wave of IP-Based Storage Solutions FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., and SAN JOSE, Calif., (May 8, 2001) - DataCore™ Software, the leading provider of storage virtualization and networking software, today announced the addition of Nishan Systems to its SANvantage™ Technical Partner Program. Through the alliance, 'Powered by DataCore' storage virtualization solutions can incorporate Nishan's Storage over IP framework using Gigabit Ethernet. DataCore has tested two of Nishan's IP Storage switches, the IPS 2000 Series SCSI and Gigabit Ethernet switch, and the IPS 3000 Series Fibre Channel to Gigabit Ethernet switch, which bring product compatibility, established standards, and scalability to storage virtualization solutions. These products integrate well with DataCore SANsymphony's™ operating premise that all storage resources should be available in a single pool over a network (whether IP or Fibre Channel) enabling storage to be allocated easily and accessed exactly when and where it's needed, regardless of the hardware platforms and storage devices in place.
